BDO Recruiting

An Informed Decision

BDO’s step-by-step recruiting process allows students to become acquainted with the firm, its people, and culture in order to make the best possible career decision. Students are welcome to seek positions in BDO offices across the country.

Where to begin

There are many ways to introduce yourself to BDO: office tours, speaking engagements, and meet- the-firm events, both on- and off-campus. Many of our offices conduct unique recruiting events for interested students. SUMMER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

On-Campus Interviews

BDO holds on-campus interviews at select campuses across the country. On-campus interviews usually take 30 minutes and are conducted by managers or partners. If we aren’t scheduled to visit your campus, we encourage you to apply to any open opportunities. If you apply through the web, your first interview will likely take place over the phone. Office Interviews

We will invite select students to interview in our offices. Candidates typically interview with three BDO professionals, including a partner, and conclude with a lunch or dinner with BDO associates.

Our goal is to produce an offer within a timely manner. BDO’s compensation packages are highly competitive, and include excellent benefits: medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, wellness, pretax transportation, a wide range of employee discounts (travel, cell phone, computers, and more), referral bonuses, and CPA certification bonuses.

Continued Communication

BDO communicates with new hires throughout the school year. We encourage new associates to contact us at any time about any issue, large or small.

Internship Quick Facts

Internships that take place during the school year typically last between 8-12 weeks, and summer internships typically last 6-10 weeks.

As an Intern at BDO, you will begin to utilize your educational background as well as your organizational skills as you serve the firm’s dynamic client base. You will assist in problem solving and fact-finding, working side-by-side with more experienced team members who can provide you with direction, coaching, and learning opportunities. This opportunity will allow you to gain a unique perspective on our firm’s practices and people, and forge critical relationships that will help you throughout your career.
